About

As far back as I can remember, I've always had an interest in animals. When I was approx. ten years old, I started helping out at a local petshop,
with my biggest interest in that time being the rabbits and guinea pigs. It didn't take long though before I discovered the other part of the shop,
which had reptiles and amphibians. The idea of having a part of nature in my home, that I was able to care for and watch grow, intrigued me.
Two years later, my dad allowed me to get my first snake, a boa constrictor.  I think it's safe to say that things just went down hill from then, in his mind of course. I wouldn't stop talking about the next animal I wanted!  In the next couple of years, I had gathered a small collection of different lizards, boids, and turtles.
I moved out at age nineteen, and was thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase whatever I wanted. I soon started collecting blood pythons and also had 2.2 spotted pythons.  I succesfully bred them in 2006.

I learned about the green tree pythons pretty early, but I was scared away from keeping them, after all the usual warnings about how difficult they were to keep. I've always been fascinated by the ontogenic process of this species, and the fact that you never know what you're going to end up with. In 2005 I decided to give it a go. I bought a couple of farm bred biak babies, at the Hamm show, in Germany. After I'd had these animals for a little less than a year, I couldn't think about anything else but getting more and more of these beautiful snakes. I slowly started selling out the other animals I had gathered through the past years, including numerous spiders, which I had acquired in the past year.
In 2006 I bought a group of aru babies, and it didn't take long until more chondros were added to the collection.

With chondros, I always have something nice to look forward to. Watching the little ones grow, and to be able to follow their color change is something that I truly enjoy.  In 2009 I succesfully bred this species for the first time.

I'm a 24 year old student and live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm currently on the 9th semester of the biotechnology study and I work part time as a waitress. In the bit of spare time I have left, I like to hang out with friends. I hope you will enjoy looking at my website.
